How to host a Minecraft server for free

Every Revenact team gets a free server package with 6 GB of memory, 150% CPU and 10 GB of disk.

1. Create your server

Choose Create server, then pick Minecraft, a location, and how much of your package to use.

2. Pick your software

Use Paper or Purpur for plugins, Forge, Fabric or NeoForge for mods, and Vanilla for the classic game.

3. Start it up

Open the server and start it from the console. When it’s ready, share the address with your friends.

4. Take a snapshot

Before you install anything big, take a snapshot, so you can roll back if something breaks.
