I've used RedBot instance as a moderation usage in the past, and they were quite not too great in moderation usages and sort of inaccurate at times.

I am proposing a suggestion for a self-hosted instance of a Discord Bot called GearBot.
Features:
  • Infraction system
    • You can see a recorded history on the users when they've been either: kicked, banned, muted or warned.
  • Warn system
  • Timed mutes
  • Timed bans
    • Only through `!tempban`
  • Logging system
    • Messages - delete and edits
    • Command usage
    • Channel topic changes, permissions, etc.
  • Self-hostable
Overall - while RedBot instance is great, it's usually only for utilities in my opinion. I personally think that it'd be a great option to feature a dedicated moderation bot. It runs on Python, maintained by AEnterprise.

If needed, I can write a page on how to install, set up self-hosted instance unofficially.
